Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Randstad Singapore seeks a seasoned professional to lead testing strategy and roadmaps for mission-critical facilities. You will draft validation procedures, manage procurement for commissioning agents, and oversee FAT/SAT, IST, and handovers to operations.
The role requires 8+ years in technical delivery of complex facilities, strong life-safety and power distribution knowledge, and readiness to travel to project sites across regions. PMP/ASHRAE credentials are preferred.
Testing Strategy & Roadmaps: Establish standardized testing frameworks and site-specific commissioning schedules, ensuring all activity aligns with project milestones, allocated budgets, and hyperscale quality benchmarks.
Technical Scripting & Protocol Governance: Draft and sign off on rigorous validation procedures, test scripts, and pass/fail thresholds tailored to complex electrical and thermal topologies.
Procurement & Vendor Leadership: Manage technical scoping, RFP creation, and procurement for third-party commissioning agents (CxA) and specialist testing contractors; govern partner performance via regular delivery audits and scorecards.
Field Execution & Milestone Verification: Oversee factory and site testing phases (FAT/SAT), pre-functional checks, individual component verification, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) to validate compliance with owner project requirements.
Cross-Phase Handover: Partner closely with construction managers to verify mechanical/electrical completion before energization, and lead the final turnover to site operations teams (including operations walkthroughs and systems training).
Defect & Punch-List Resolution: Drive root-cause assessments of field anomalies, enforce strict QA/QC compliance, and shepherd punch-list issues through to resolution prior to final sign-off.
Stakeholder Reporting: Lead technical review sessions and provide transparent reporting to leadership on schedule adherence, Ready for Service (RFS) targets, scope variance, and field risks.
Continuous Feedback: Extract operational lessons from completed builds to update regional design standards, enhance testing efficiency, and lower total commissioning costs on future projects.

Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline with 8+ years of technical project delivery experience; OR
Mission-Critical Experience:
Minimum of 5 years dedicated to building, commissioning, or technically managing mission-critical facilities (data centers, semiconductor fabs, or critical energy plants).
Core Technical Competencies:
Proven capability drafting complex commissioning scripts, sequences of operation, and integrated test procedures.
Practical understanding of data center life-safety, power distribution (HV/MV/LV, UPS, backup generation), and precision thermal topologies.
