Job summary

PERSOL TECH SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Test and Commissioning engineer to lead the dedicated work scope on site. You will execute test procedures, coordinate with the site team, and obtain customer sign-off for projects.

The role involves planning, mobilizing equipment, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring safety compliance. Night shifts and on-call duties may apply, with a strong understanding of local electrical practices required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assigned scope of Test and Commissioning on site.
• Conduct test procedures and equipment testing to obtain Customer sign-off.
• Prepare technical proposals for testing and commissioning.
• Arrange required test equipment with Site Manager & team leader.
• Mobilize test equipment to commence testing as scheduled.
• Coordinate with Customers for Permit-To-Work applications.
• Prepare and submit test reports to customers.
• Draft Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Supervise and monitor site testing activities.
• Support team leaders and site engineers on safety requirements.
• Develop test plans for SAT, IFT, SIT.
• Plan scheduling and allocate jobs with Planner.
• Participate in technical discussions and report writing.
• Organize training programs.
• Maintain site cleanliness after deployments.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead the assigned dedicated work scope of Test and Commissioning
• Conduct all required Test Procedure, Methodology & equipment testing activities in site related to project to obtain sign-off from Customer.
• Preparation of technical proposals (testing and commissioning) for submission.
• To arrange all test equipment required for testing in coordination with site Manager & team leader.
• Mobilization of required test equipment arranged and made ready to commence testing in time.
• Coordinate and liaise with Customers on application of Permit-To-Work for testing activities for approved proceedings.
• Prepare and compile test report for submission to customer
• Prepare and draft Method Statement Risk Assessment.
• Supervise and monitor the site test activities at each specific T&C work.
• Provide support to team leaders and site engineers in all safety related requirement.
• Develops test plans and test procedures for Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Interface test (IFT) and System Integration Test (SIT).
• Plan scheduling and job allocation for activities (to coordinate with Planner)
• Participation in technical discussion and report preparation.
• Organizing training programs.
• Maintain and ensure line clear after each deployment and the site is always neat and tidy

Skills/Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Able to understand the regulation and requirement of local electrical practice .
• Able to prepare Test Procedure and relevant technical document.
• Able to learn and pick up cut-in/cut-out of circuits for new systems or reroute cables / systems that requires test and commissioning.
• Willing to work in night shifts and on call duty.
• Positive work attitude
