Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Test Engineer Assistant to assist in test planning, execute test cases, and maintain the test environment. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or ITE Certificate, 2 years of relevant experience, and computer literacy in MS Office. Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ prior experience in a similar capacity.
• Computer literacy in MS Operation System/Office.
• Ability to execute ad hoc and exploratory testing.

Skills

Knowledge in network topology

Experience in printer testing or similar devices

Job description

Salary: $2100

Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Eligible for OT claim

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Engineer in test planning
• Track and plan test materials for new projects and sustaining projects
• Test case execution and bug investigation
• Run planned test cases for system product according to test plan and instruction from Lead DVT engineer
• Report found issues with standard bug template with proper information to help RND team understand the bug and possible root cause
• Execute ad hoc and exploratory testing.
• Test lab maintenance
• Manage and maintenance existing test environment including Network setup, Test PC, consumables etc.

Requisite Criteria

• Diploma or ITE Certificate
• 2 years’ prior experience in similar capacity
• Computer literacy in MS Operation System/Office and Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

Skills

• Knowledge in network topology.
• Experience in printer testing or other similar electronics devices.
• Good command of English, written and spoken
• Team player and independent worker
• Good attitude and willing to learn
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
