Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is seeking a Test Engineer to support test process operations in a wafer-fab module on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will design and operate test equipment, develop procedures, and ensure quality with SOP adherence.

You will analyze data, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with suppliers to drive quality improvements, while maintaining safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in Test engineering or wafer-fab production.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift duties (12-hour shift) to optimize and support Test Process operation in module.
• Develop and implement methods and procedures for test process control and improvement.
• Coordinate with Specialists to ensure SOPs are followed and work is efficient.
• Design and operate test equipment and fixtures, minimizing defects and ensuring quality.
• Analyze reports to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers on quality problems and drive improvement programs.
• Create process job-files for test equipment for production setup.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in the production area.
