Job Title: Test Manager
Location: Singapore

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Test Manager to lead our QA team in delivering high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing strategies across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This is a leadership role requiring both technical proficiency and team management capabilities.


Mandatory Skills

  • Proven experience managing QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
  • Expertise in test planning, test strategy, and test execution management
  • Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps
  • Hands-on knowledge of both manual and automation testing


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the QA team across functional, integration, system, and regression testing
  • Develop and maintain detailed test strategies, plans, and documentation
  • Coordinate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to define quality objectives
  • Implement test automation strategies and frameworks (where applicable)
  • Monitor QA metrics (defect rates, test coverage, etc.) and drive improvements
  • Conduct regular reviews, mentor junior QA members, and ensure skill development
  • Manage test environments, test data, and risk-based testing approaches
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices across projects


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • ISTQB / CSTE or other QA certifications (preferred)


Technical Skills

  • Test management tools: JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, Azure DevOps
  • Automation tools: Selenium, UFT, TestNG, or similar frameworks
  • Basic understanding of programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, VBScript)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
