Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore invites applications for an entry-level Electrical/Mechatronics Technician based at Boon Lay. The role focuses on testing electrical power systems for safety and reliability and involves deploying load bank equipment at customer sites, including data centres and vessels.

You will operate and monitor load tests under supervision, perform basic maintenance and pre-deployment checks, and assist with transport logistics and on-site positioning.

Qualifications

• Min Nitec or Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• No experience required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Test if the electrical power systems can handle heavy loads safely and reliably.
• Deploy and connect load bank equipment on customer sites (data centres, generator yards, vessels, offshore platforms).
• Operate and monitor load tests under the supervision of a senior technician or engineer.
• Carry out basic maintenance and pre-deployment checks on equipment.
• Handle transport logistics: loading/offloading from trucks, rigging, and safe positioning on site.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, no shift work
