A leading company seeks manufacturing support staff to implement 5S methodologies, maintain inventory, and support engineering tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have relevant engineering knowledge and strong technical skills, ready to contribute to operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities :
Implement and maintain 5S methodologies across designated areas, ensuring strict compliance with established standards
Oversee the organized storage and accurate inventory of tools, materials, and Work-In-Progress (WIP)
Maintain meticulous records and update relevant trackers, logs, and communication platforms (e.g., WhatsApp) to ensure timely information flow to engineers and collaborating partners
Possess foundational knowledge of server hardware and Unix terminal access, with the capability to perform basic failure analysis (FA)
Provide direct support for EMR testing, monitor test status closely and and promptly escalate issues or trigger related parties for necessary actions
Execute re-configurations according to customer specifications and perform accurate software loading
Identify various error codes for individual failed server given by the diagnostic program and rework fail units per training and/or direction from engineers and update the status
Support engineers during pilot run orders and assist in resolving product-related technical issues.
Ensure the production line remains well-maintained and organized through daily updates on order progress. Generate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
Provide constructive feedback to production regarding Warehouse Management System (WMS) issues and actively contribute to FID / WMS Kaizen & Continuous Improvement (CR) projects
Promptly raise and update technical tickets or trigger email escalations within agreed service-level agreements
Support internal and external audits, ensuring strict adherence to all company rules and regulations
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned in accordance to the business needs
Requirements :
Engineering or Relevant discipline
Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical and pneumatic systems and their operational principals
Proven strong knowledge of the setup, operation, and routine maintenance of specialized manufacturing equipment
Strong grasp of mechanical assembly and fabrication procedures
In-depth knowledge of electronic circuitry, including testing and debugging methodologies
Familiar with computer programming concepts and the ability to utilize specific applications relevant to this role (e.g., C++)
Ability to accurately read and interpret complex product specifications, schematics, and mechanical drawings
Competency in using various hand and power tools essential for test assembly
Proficiency with personal computers and standard Windows applications
Excellent understanding and commitment to quality standards
Strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse internal stakeholders
Working Days / Hours:
3rd Shift: Monday to Friday 11am – 7am
1st Shift: Probation (90 days) 7am - 3pm - please note!
