Job summary

An R&D test laboratory management position is available at a recruitment agency in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting evaluation tests on industrial sensors, managing laboratory operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and at least three years of experience in electronic product testing.

• Experience on project planning and coordination.

• Manage and coordinate evaluation tests on industrial sensors and document results based on regulatory requirements.
• Oversee operations such as scheduling tests and maintaining lab equipment.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the R&D test laboratory and implement testing techniques and standard operating procedures in the laboratory
• Manage, coordinate, perform evaluation tests on industrial sensors and document the results based on regulatory requirements. Tests include functional, EMC, reliability, mechanical, optical, etc. on device and system level
• Oversee day to day operations such as carry out and schedule tests, plan testing capacities, issue test reports, schedule calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and R&D test equipment
• Liaise with Headquarter for technical support and technology transfer
• Lead all improvement activities on test procedure, test setup and test documentation
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to sustain product lifecycle including customer complaints, components obsolescence, failure analysis, etc.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Mechatronic, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in testing of electronic products
• Experience on project planning and coordination
