Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is urgently seeking a Test Engineer. You will lead testing activities for Server and Rack products, support configuration and testing processes, and liaise with customers and the HQ for improvements. Suitable candidates will have a Diploma in Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong skills in SAP and Linux, along with a good understanding of various test methods, are essential.

Job description

The Client is a leading technology manufacturing company specializing in high-performance computing systems, servers, and cloud infrastructure solutions.

Below position is open urgently.

Position: Test Engineer

Venue: East Singapore

Working Hours: Shift work assigned

Responsibilities:

• To lead a team of Associate Engineers / Technicians to carry out all the Test related activities for Server & Rack products for the production

• To support & implement PXE Server configuration for the products

• Perform & maintain the Server & Rack run-in test process

• Perform & maintain the burn-in & power test process

• To liaise with customer & HQ / factory on the test program implementation and maintenance

• To test and analyze all failures in the production products and work back with customer & HQ / factory for improvement

• Participate in the Kaizen activities

• To update the test program master list & tracking

• To prepare and update Working Instruction

• To provide training over W/I to production

• To support the NPI Process

• To support production on the mass run

• Participate in ISO activities (implementation & maintenance)
  

Requirements:-

• Min. Diploma in Engineering discipline with min 3 years relevant experience in Server / Rack/ Manufacturing environment

• Ability to work with the customer, HQ / factory, Peers / Subordinate and Superiors

• SAP & Linux knowledge

• Able to multi-task & work under pressure

• Good understanding of test methods and concepts

• Knowledge of programming and debugging skills
