Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a skilled R&D Test Manager to oversee testing operations in their lab. This role involves managing tests on industrial sensors, coordinating evaluations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should possess an engineering degree and have at least three years of relevant experience in testing electronic products.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the R&D test laboratory and implement testing techniques and standard operating procedures in the laboratory

• Manage, coordinate, perform evaluation tests on industrial sensors and document the results based on regulatory requirements. Tests include functional, EMC, reliability, mechanical, optical, etc. on device and system level

• Oversee day to day operations such as carry out and schedule tests, plan testing capacities, issue test reports, schedule calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and R&D test equipment

• Liaise with Headquarter for technical support and technology transfer

• Lead all improvement activities on test procedure, test setup and test documentation

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to sustain product lifecycle including customer complaints, components obsolescence, failure analysis, etc.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Mechatronic, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years experience in testing of electronic products

• Experience on project planning and coordination

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
