Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Test Engineer to optimize test processes, improve yield, and drive continuous improvement. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement AI-enabled tools and data visualization for better decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or any electronic related field.

• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.

• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes

Responsibilities

• Optimize process, tools and systems to achieve high product quality and efficiency in Test operation.
• Improve quality-yield in Test process.
• Resolve process/product deviations.
• Drive continuous improvement in Test operation through characterization, optimization, problem resolution and controls.
• Handle changes in test process including new qualification and integration for high volume production.
• Identify opportunities for quality, efficiency, cycle time, delivery and cost improvements.
• Lead or participate in projects to realize opportunities with innovative solutions.
• Design and develop BI reporting and dashboards for data visualization and decision-making.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work while complying with standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within scope

Job description

As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for the following:

• Optimizing process, tools and systems to achieve high product quality and high efficiency in Test operation.
• Responsible for improving quality-yield in Test process.
• Resolve process/product deviations.
• Drive continuous improvement in Test operation (through process characterization, process optimization, problem resolution and effective controls' implementation).
• Handle changes in test process (including new process/equipment qualification and new product integration) to support high volume production.
• Identify operational perfection (Quality, Efficiency, Cycle time, Delivery / Cost improvement) opportunities.
• Lead/participate in projects to realize the potential opportunities through innovative solutions.
• Additional tasks would include design and develop business intelligent reporting and dashboards for effective business data visualization enable data driven decision-making.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one's scope of work.
