Job summary

AEG Power Solutions PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Test Technician to execute test plans for electronic systems and ensure quality and functionality.

You will conduct FAT alongside consultants and inspectors, prepare technical reports, and work with engineering to resolve issues. The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, a technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, and strong knowledge of quality tools.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-3 years’ relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of quality tools and methods.
• Able to troubleshoot and find the root of the problem.
• Computer literacy.
• Working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Execute the test plan for each system and verify products meet quality and functionality requirements.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in the presence of consultants and third party inspectors.
• Prepare technical documents and reports.
• Continuously improve test setup, calibration, and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates.
• Analyze errors in electronic designs and production.
• Provide technical assistance to other personnel.
• Review the effectiveness of quality and testing systems.
• Collect data and analyze testing problems to improve the overall system.
• Perform RCA and propose preventive actions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
• Assist Service Engineers with customer needs for technical support.
