Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to oversee UAT environments, support development teams, and manage Windows/Linux server infrastructures. The role includes deployment tasks, account management, and documentation for processes and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in software development, testing, and support, with strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Windows Batch, and familiarity with IIS, MSMQ, and certificate management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of software development, testing, and support experience.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, MSSQL, SSH/SFTP, certificate management, IIS, Linux, MSMQ.
• PowerShell and Windows Batch scripting are must-haves; VB scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of UAT environments.

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Perform infrastructure setup and deployment tasks for application environments, including configuration, provisioning, and deployment
• Handle account management activities, creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts and permissions
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application processes and procedures, including user guides, technical manuals, and standard operating procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of software development, testing, and support experience.
• Strong proficiency in:
  • Database query languages (Oracle/MSSQL)
  • SSH/SFTP client/server operations
  • Public/private key and certificate management
  • IIS web server administration, including certificate generation
  • Linux server OS administration and command-line proficiency
  • MSMQ messaging services
  • Collaborative and independent software/IT project work
• Strong proficiency in scripting for the following:
  • PowerShell (Must Have).
  • Windows Batch scripting (Must Have).
  • VB scripting (good to have).
