Job summary

KRYJAS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a detail‑oriented Manual Tester to design and execute test cases across functional, system and UAT testing, ensuring quality of software releases. Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on manual testing across functional, regression, integration and UAT.
• Hands-on JIRA for defect tracking, test execution and issue management.
• Proficient Confluence for test documentation and collaboration.
• Experience creating and executing test cases with clear defect reporting.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute test cases and test scenarios.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to design and execute test cases, track defects and support UAT and system testing efforts, ensuring the quality and reliability of software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute test cases and test scenarios for functional, system, regression, integration and UAT testing.
• Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution using JIRA and/or ALM, ensuring clear and complete documentation.
• Validate data accuracy and business logic using SQL queries against application databases.
• Support reporting and test metrics tracking using Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Perform API testing and validation using Postman and SOAP UI.
• Support testing of message-driven and event-based systems using Kafka, where applicable.
• Maintain test documentation, test plans and knowledge-sharing artefacts in Confluence.
• Coordinate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve testing issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the testing process.

• Good analytical, communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality software.
