A global technology solutions company is seeking a Territory Sales Manager in Singapore to develop and grow its product portfolio in Japan. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC, over 5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work closely with sales teams and customers. This role includes supporting the sales team in pitching solutions, identifying opportunities, and understanding market requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Center Facility, Power and Air Conditioning.
  • Strong technical and application knowledge of Power (UPS) & Thermal Management.
  • Experience in data center design is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team and pitch solutions to customers.
  • Identify opportunities, develop them to a closing stage.
  • Understand market size and collect Voice of Customers.

Job description

You will be the key person responsible for Territory Sales in Japan to develop and grow the product portfolio and deliver on the set annual budgets / targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The role is to support the sales team and pitch our solutions to our new and existing and customers, consultants and contractors.
  • The responsibility includes supporting customers and the sales team in pre-sales stage by identifying opportunities, developing those opportunities to a closing / win stage.
  • To introduce our capabilities with the Consultant and Contractors to ensure the solutions are specified at initial stages of opportunities.
  • The responsibility includes understanding of market size, collecting Voice of Customers, market requirements, and work with engineering and be the liaison with the product management and factory to develop winning products and solutions which are driven by market demands to successfully differentiate and be able to compete in deals.
  • Create Competitive strategy and position our products in the market working closely with our Vertical leaders and the sales teams.
  • Help sales team to technically present liquid cooling solutions to our customers.
  • The role requires to create the funnel for sales, develop the opportunities, ensure accurate forecasting which is aligned to the overall forecast.
  • Looking for opportunities for continuous improvements of engagement, processes and how to better deliver on customer expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Strong technical and application knowledge of Power (UPS) & Thermal Management specifically in HVAC products
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Center Facility, Power and Air Conditioning, Product Sales & Marketing
  • Experience in data center design
  • Learning agility and the ability to stay abreast of trends and strategic landscape
  • Strong communication, teamwork attributes to work with sales and various stakeholders in the organization.
  • Good presentation skills to both customers and internal employees
