What's the role

Cargoes operations: loading and unloading

  • Vessel Pre-arrival safety checks

  • Pre-receipt/ delivery tanks/ system checks and preparation

  • Supervise mooring / unmooring of vessels for berthing unberthing activities

  • Perform vessel safety check/ cargoes planning with Vessel’s master

  • Conduct system monitoring during cargo operation

  • Post operation tankage checks/ confirmation of quantities and qualities of product.

  • Perform documentation for pre/ post delivery

Pipeline receipt operation

  • Pre transfer tankage/ system check

  • Coordination with Bukom for transfer, plan and execute the transfer

  • Perform system check during transfer

  • Prepare tankage for release post transfer

Gantry operation

  • Ensure tanks/ products ready for daily delivery

  • Supervise dispatch operation

  • Manage safe operation of tanker activities

  • Perform documentation for pre/ post delivery

Bitumen depot operation

  • Road tankers delivery via Gantry

  • Blending of different bitumen grade

  • Perform documentation for pre/ post delivery

Daily routine include but not limiting to

  • Operators’ round

  • Sampling

  • Tank draining

  • Tank dipping

  • Maintenance/ project support/ PTWs

  • System lineup/ verification

  • Jetty/ tanks/ pumps etc surveillance check

  • Daily Stock recon

  • Perform ERT duty

Others

  • Non routine task assigned by Terminal Manager/ Supervisor

  • Perform coverage for planned/ unplanned absenteeism

  • Assist in system trouble shooting

Note: This role will require to perform shift work (12hr)

What you bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Diploma holder required with min 2-3 years of relevant work experience

  • Operational experience and familiarity with Terminals are preferable

  • Self-starter with good time management skills, written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to multi-task and prioritize work

  • This position requires the use of system applications like GSAP and several interfacing Caps like GIB and Omega
