Job summary

A leading company in subsea technology is seeking a TENDER SPECIALIST to join their expanding team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Tender team through document preparation, maintaining efficient filing systems, and coordinating bid efforts. Candidates should have a diploma in Engineering or Business, relevant experience, and proficiency in MS Office. Fluency in Chinese is preferred for effective communication with clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering or Business Studies.
  • 1 to 2 years relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Tender team.
  • Preparation and compilation of documents for tender submission.
  • Set up and maintain all proposal clarification registers.

Skills

Familiarity with cost build
Proficiency in MS Excel
Communication with Chinese customers
Strong organizational skills

Job description

Due to expansion, we are currently looking for highly motivated and results oriented talent to join us as:

TENDER SPECIALIST

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Tender team

• Preparation and compilation of documents for tender submission

• Set up and maintain all proposal clarification register

• Compilation of marketing data and presentation materials

• Maintenance of an efficient filing system

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or Business Studies

• 1 to 2 years relevant experience is preferred

• Subsea project exposure – direct experience preparing cost models and commercial tenders for API6A/17D wellheads, Xmas trees or related subsea equipment.

• Cost‐build familiarity – strong grasp of material, manufacturing, installation and life of field cost drivers, plus ability to interface with engineering and supply chain teams.

• Tender leadership – track record coordinating multidisciplinary bid teams, meeting tight submission deadlines, and negotiating clarifications with client SCM/QS representatives.

• Tools & analytics – proficiency in MSExcel cost models, ERP/MRP data extraction, and presentation of pricing scenarios to management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to communicate with Chinese speaking customers

• Meticulous with ability to prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines

• A self-motivated team player with positive attitude

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
