Job summary

A growing company in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Tender Specialist to support the Tender team with clerical and administrative tasks. The role involves document preparation for tenders and maintaining an efficient filing system. Candidates should possess a diploma in Engineering or Business Studies and have 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to subsea projects. Proficiency in MSExcel and the ability to communicate with Chinese-speaking clients are essential. The ideal candidate is meticulous, self-motivated, and capable of performing under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years relevant experience is preferred.
• Subsea project exposure and experience preparing cost models and commercial tenders.
• Strong grasp of material, manufacturing, installation, and life of field cost drivers.
• Ability to work with engineering and supply chain teams.

TENDER SPECIALIST

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Tender team

• Preparation and compilation of documents for tender submission

• Set up and maintain all proposal clarification register

• Compilation of marketing data and presentation materials

• Maintenance of an efficient filing system

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or Business Studies

• 1 to 2 years relevant experience is preferred

• Subsea project exposure – direct experience preparing cost models and commercial tenders for API6A/17D wellheads, Xmas trees or related subsea equipment.

• Cost‐build familiarity – strong grasp of material, manufacturing, installation and life of field cost drivers, plus ability to interface with engineering and supply chain teams.

• Tender leadership – track record coordinating multidisciplinary bid teams, meeting tight submission deadlines, and negotiating clarifications with client SCM/QS representatives.

• Tools & analytics – proficiency in MSExcel cost models, ERP/MRP data extraction, and presentation of pricing scenarios to management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to communicate with Chinese speaking customers

• Meticulous with ability to prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines

• A self-motivated team player with positive attitude

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
