Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is looking for a Tender Quantity Surveyor and a Senior Tender Quantity Surveyor. The roles require substantial experience in building construction and expertise in managing tender processes and cost evaluations. Candidates will need strong skills in computer literacy and proficiency with tendering software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as JQS / QS in Building Construction for Tender QS.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as QS in Building Construction for Senior Tender QS.
• Proven track record leading tenders for building/Infra projects for Senior Tender QS.

Responsibilities

• Study tender specifications and drawings for Tender QS.
• Carry out quantity take-off for tendering of projects for Tender QS.
• Lead QS responsibilities and evaluate tender costs for Senior Tender QS.

Job description

Tender QS:

Ø Study tender specifications and drawings

Ø Carry out quantity take-off for tendering of projects

Ø Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering;

Minimum 3 years of experience as JQS / QS in Building Construction working for contractors.

Sound computer literacy including advanced skills in excel. Proficient in Cubicost Glodon will be a plus.

Senior Tender QS:

Ø Proven track record in leading tender for building/Infra tenders

Ø Study and identity discrepancies in tender documents and raise queries for clarifications

Ø Lead the QS and responsible for tender cost

Ø Liaise and carry out evaluation and negotiate with supplier and subcontractors

Ø Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering;

Minimum 5 years of experience as QS in Building Construction working for contractors.
