Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer inquiries, requests for quotations (RFQs), and technical documents; conduct site visits to determine project needs.
- Design feasible technical solutions utilizing the company’s offerings, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS, and related systems.
- Create detailed proposal packages comprising technical write-ups, system architecture diagrams, bills of materials, pricing summaries, delivery timelines, and terms and conditions to ensure customer clarity.
- Coordinate with internal departments (such as product marketing, project teams, service, and procurement) and external vendors to assess costs, delivery schedules, and potential risks.
- Organize and contribute to internal reviews of technical and cost aspects to refine proposals and secure management approval.
- Assist Sales Account Managers by responding to technical queries and customer clarifications during the proposal phase.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in proposal development, technical sales, or sales support within the industrial automation and control sector.
- Knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS, and familiarity with IEC62443 standards is a plus.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, especially Visio, Word, and Excel.
- Capable of managing time effectively, multitasking, and working independently with minimal supervision.
- A collaborative team player who is willing to go above and beyond, work under tight deadlines, and continuously learn to support sales efforts.
- Maintains a positive attitude when dealing with incomplete information, supports team members to accelerate progress, and contributes to process improvements.
