Job summary

SCAN - BILT PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Tender professional to lead preparation and submission of tenders, including quantity take-offs and pricing. You will source subcontractors and suppliers, liaise with operations for technical support, and address clarifications with consultants or clients.

Responsibilities include analysing quotations, preparing reports on earned value and variations, managing progress claims, and compiling all bid documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and submission of tenders, including quantity take-offs and pricing
• Source subcontractors and suppliers to support tenders
• Identify items needing technical support from operations and liaise on design, execution methodology and planning
• Identify discrepancies in BQs, drawings, specifications and raise queries to consultants/clients
• Analyse subcontractors/suppliers quotations for completeness and negotiate to sharpen tender price
• Prepare monthly reports: earned value and projected final contract value including re-measurements and variations
• Track, record and submit detailed variation claims and close with clients promptly
• Monitor project completion dates and assist PM with time/cost claims
• Manage progress claims and payments of prime contracts and subcontracts
• Handle contract administration and settlement of final accounts with clients and subs
• Review tender/project requirements and prepare method statements, work execution plan, QA/QC/HSSE documentation, project schedule & resource programming
• Collate all documentation for submission
• Collaborate with internal units to develop winning bids
