Job Description
- Physical Condition & Safety Compliance
- Conduct regular physical walkthroughs of premises, including rooms, corridors, and common areas.
- Check for cleanliness, visible damage, and structural integrity.
- Record, photograph, and submit defect lists for follow-up.
- Liaise with maintenance teams and monitor the progress of rectification works.
- Perform routine safety checks (e.g., inspection of fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and other safety equipment).
- Inventory & Asset Management
- Verify fixtures, fittings, and equipment against handover lists to ensure completeness and functionality.
- Conduct inventory checks of both fixed and non-fixed assets.
- Manage key collection, labelling, duplication, and lock verification processes.
- Prepare, update, and maintain asset and key databases.
- Maintain accurate records, including photographic evidence and final handover documentation.
- Assist with ad hoc internal movement of furniture and provide logistics support as and when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time based on exigencies of service.
Please note that some light shifting and lifting will be required from time to time.
Qualifications
- Higher NITEC/Diploma in Civil Engineering/Building/Facilities Management Services or related areas.
- Minimum 2 years of Facilities Management or related experience.
- Good written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to present and write clear and concise reports/specifications.
- Good Interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Competent with MS Office applications.
- Candidates with degree will also be considered.
