What the role is:
The National Research Foundation (NRF) is a department within the Prime Minister's Office, responsible for setting the national direction for research, innovation, and enterprise (RIE). This involves developing policies, plans, and strategies; funding strategic initiatives to enhance scientific and technological capabilities; growing the RIE talent pool; and fostering collaboration both locally and internationally.
What you will be working on:
Key Responsibilities: Provide support to the IFM team in managing:
- Facilities & Project Management
- Contract Management
- Space Management
Duties:
- Supervise and assess maintenance contractors for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Supervise project works and facility renewal projects.
- Prepare and monitor project and maintenance budgets, ensuring quality of work.
- Assist in tender preparation related to technical specifications.
- Verify claims and payments from service contractors.
- Assist in any other duties as assigned.

Competencies Required:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with good initiative and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About National Research Foundation:
The NRF, established on 1 January 2006 under the Prime Minister's Office, performs the following roles:
- Provides secretariat support to the Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council (RIEC).
- Coordinates research activities across agencies for strategic alignment.
- Develops policies and plans for the national R&D agenda.
- Implements national research, innovation, and enterprise strategies, allocating funding to meet strategic objectives.
