PERSOLKELLY Singapore is seeking committed part-time staff for a pop-up library at Changi Airport T3, starting in August 2025. Successful candidates will assist with book organization and customer service, ideal for those with diploma qualifications and relevant experience.

Job description

We are looking for 2x part time staff who can commit for the whole 6 months to assist in a pop-up library.

Duration: 6 months, start August 2025

Location: Changi Airport T3

Salary: $14/hour

Shift Options:

  1. Every Monday - Friday 9am - 12pm (estimated gross $210 weekly)

  2. Every Saturday and Sunday 9am - 12pm (estimated gross $84 weekly)

Responsibilities
  • Check and sign off for items delivered by Certis and report to Project Manager if discrepancy in delivered items noted.

  • For adults titles, to drop them into the book drop return from 10am when the book vault starts operations.

  • For children’s titles, to check in into NLB system (Polaris LEAP) and to arrange on shelves.

  • Collect returned books in the GnG bin inside the Book Vault and arrange them neatly onto the book shelves and ensure that there are sufficient books on shelf.

  • Remove returned books (non-Star Wars) from the GnG bin inside the Book Vault and set aside in the storeroom.

  • Check “abnormal” bin and sort out the books to adults/ teens/ children/ non-Star Wars Library.

  • Do stocktake to ensure there is enough stock for each day top-ups.

  • Test the gantries to ensure it works well and help with the maintenance when required

  • Customer service – answer simple enquiries pertaining to the Star Wars Library

  • Ensure that the library is clean and tidy.

  • Consolidate books to be sent to RDM for rework.

  • To liaise with Project Manager on waiver requests regarding claim returns, claim never borrowed, disputes etc.

  • Any other duties as instructed

Requirements
  • Diploma

  • Committed and responsible, available for the whole contract period

  • Customer service/ administrative experience

  • Ok with manual moving of books
