Dulwich College (Singapore) is looking for an organized and approachable TEMPORARY HR ADMINISTRATOR. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic HR team, managing efficient HR processes and contributing to a warm, welcoming staff experience at every stage.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Recruitment, Induction & Onboarding

  • Assist with the management and maintenance of HR systems and job portals;
  • Ensure openings on relevant job portals are compliance with regulations (e.g. TAFEP, FCF, PDPA)
  • Liaise with candidates, hiring managers and external providers to arrange interviews and assessments;
  • Assist in the vetting of candidates including requesting and verifying references and qualifications, and police checks;
  • Assist to prepare contracts of employment, engage with new recruits to prepare for their commencement; create an induction plan for new starters;
  • Create an e-file and a hardcopy personal file ensuring all relevant documentation is in place and verified;
  • Liaise with other departments to manage the onboarding of new employees, and ensuring that all databases and systems are updated accordingly.

General HR

  • Support the HR Team in all MOM pass processing and ensuring that renewals are conducted in a timely manner, and accurate records are kept;
  • Assist with the timely registration and updates with the Council of Private Education;
  • Manage the administration and organisation for starters and leavers; and liaise with respective departments for their on-boarding and off-boarding matters;
  • Manage administration and updates for the e-Leave system;
  • Keep filing and administrative organisation of the department up-to-date and effective.

All other duties commensurate with the post.

The successful candidate will have:

  • One year's experience in an HR administrative role, or related area (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply);
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, providing advice and support to both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Experience in a busy working environment, multi-tasking and handling conflicting demands;
  • Experience of working in an education environment would be desirable;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English;
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across the organisation;
  • A meticulous approach to tasks, with strong attention to detail;
  • The ability to handle sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality at all times;
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and manage own time effectively;
