Job description

What the role is:

The job holder will be supporting the establishment of Business Continuity Planning for the Ministry.

What you will be working on:

The job holder will:
  1. Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and external partners, for all BCP matters
  2. Manage project timelines for the BCP refresh initiative
  3. Coordinate and facilitate necessary meetings, training sessions, and exercises to:
  • Identify current gaps
  • Define critical business functions
  • Map dependencies
  • Establish recovery time objectives
  • Collaborate with external vendors to develop and finalise business continuity and disaster recovery plans for critical functions
  • Provide support for department or other workplace experience events/initiatives
  • What we are looking for:

    • Previous experience in Business Continuity Management or planning is advantageous
    • Strong project management and budgeting capabilities
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
