Job summary

A leading company in the oil & gas industry is seeking a Year 2 student intern for a two-month project focused on data entry and product description standardization as part of their transition to SAP B1 and Autodesk Vault systems. The intern will be responsible for collecting and updating required product information using MS Excel, with opportunities for remote work and regular updates to the project manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum Year 2 student in relevant field.
• Possess knowledge or experience in pneumatic & hydraulic instrumentation.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Data entry to complete product description updates on MS Excel.
• Retrieve missing product info from various sources.
• Ensure data support system migration.

Job description

To assist in component and product description standardization in preparation for system upgrading to SAP B1 and Autodesk Vault.

Commencement Date: 14-July-2025

Duration: 2 Months, subject to extension

Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm

Job Description

• Fully in charge of data entry to complete Component/product description update in MS Excel based on required product info parameter given or establised component/product description configuration.
• To search & retrieve the missing or required product info from supplier product website, product brochure or cataloque, product datasheet and etc.
• To ensure data collected and data entered will help in the purpose of system migration into our SAP B1 and Autodesk Vault system.

Requirement :

• Minimum Year 2 Student in Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Instrumentation or equivalent
• Possess knowledge or experience in pneumatic & hydraulic instrumentation product in the oil & gas industry
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet
• Project oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills

Possibility for Remote Working with weekly (or as required) reporting to Project Lead/Manager.
