Job description

We are looking for a self-driven and highly motivated individual to support statistical research and data analysis work in a dynamic policy and operations environment. This role contributes to the planning and execution of national surveys and research efforts related to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end implementation of surveys, including sampling, questionnaire design, fieldwork coordination, and data processing
• Analyse survey and administrative data to derive insights and support policy/programme decisions
• Apply data science techniques (e.g., machine learning, modelling) to enhance insight generation
• Conduct environment scans and literature reviews on relevant topics
• Support internal data management initiatives and cross-departmental data-related needs

Requirements:

• Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Behavioural Science, or related field
• At least 1 year of relevant work or research experience
• Proficient in R, Python, or other relevant programming languages
• Skilled in data analysis, data visualisation, and report writing
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Interest in environmental and sustainability issues
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with stakeholders
