Job summary

STAFFLINK SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is hiring for an entry-level assembler in Singapore's Kallang area. This 3 to 6 months contract role offers Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6pm and on-site work.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided; candidates should be able to read simple English, perform hands-on assembly, and follow work instructions and drawings. MES/SAP familiarity is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read simple English and follow instructions.
• Willingness to perform repetitive manual tasks.
• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities:

• Refer to and follow the lot traveler for the assigned production job.
• Carry out assembly and manufacturing processes according to established work instructions.
• Assemble products according to specified requirements and quality standards.
• Read and understand simple English instructions, production documents and basic drawings.
• Perform basic inspection and checking of completed products.
• Ensure products are built according to the required specifications and production procedures.
• Use manufacturing systems such as MES / SAP where required.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the workstation follows 5S standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum Secondary School education or equivalent.
• Able to read and understand simple English words and instructions.
• Able to understand information stated on lot travelers and basic drawings.
• Comfortable performing hands-on assembly and repetitive production tasks.
• Familiarity with MES / SAP is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, electronics, cable assembly or a related environment will be an advantage.
