AI Singapore (AISG) is a national programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF), Singapore, to catalise, synergise and boost Singapore's artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to power our future digital economy. AISG will bring together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products, to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore's AI efforts.

AISG is driven by a government-wide partnership comprising NRF, Smart Nation Group (SNG), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Economic Development Board (EDB), Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), amongst others.

AI Singapore (AI Talent Development) is at the forefront of driving AI education and innovation. As we continue to expand our reach, we are seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our team as a Temporary Executive / Senior Executive. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the development and implementation of our programme goals, while also spearheading marketing strategies to enhance programme awareness and participation.

The successful candidate will also support the planning and execution of the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2027, which will be held in Singapore and organised by AI Singapore. This includes supporting programme development, stakeholder and participant engagement, event operations, communications, and other activities required to deliver this major international AI competition.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Programme Development and Implementation:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define program goals, objectives, and strategies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of innovative and effective programs.
• Ensure seamless execution of programs, meeting high-quality standards.
• Support procurement activities including vendor sourcing, quotation requests, and supplier engagement for program-related needs
• Coordinate and execute key activities for the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2027, including programme planning, development, event operations, logistics, procurement, participant coordination, and on-site execution.

2. Programme Communications and Outreach:

• Devise and execute robust marketing strategies to elevate program visibility.
• Create engaging promotional materials and campaigns to attract diverse audiences.
• Utilize a mix of traditional and digital marketing channels to maximize outreach.
• Support communications and outreach for IOAI 2027, including coordination of publicity materials, participant communications, stakeholder updates, and event-related communications.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Serve as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, programme participants and other relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain positive relationships and address inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Manage stakeholder enquiries and gather feedback to continuously improve programs and enhance stakeholder experience.
• Collect, verify, consolidate and analyse programme data, progress updates and outcomes for reporting and evaluation purposes.
• Support engagement and coordination with key IOAI 2027 stakeholders, including international delegations, participating teams, government agencies, educational institutions, sponsors, partners, vendors, and organising committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in programme/project management, event management, stakeholder engagement, or related areas.
• Experience working in Singapore government agencies and/or educational institutions will be advantageous.
• Experience in events planning, programme development, implementation, and marketing.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with AI education technology or innovation initiatives will be an advantage.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
