Role Snapshot

You’ll wear two hats:

  1. Video Producer / Editor – Plan, shoot, edit, grade, mix, and deliver high‑quality property and educational videos (short & long form).
  2. Marketing Content Specialist – Repurpose footage into platform‑native short clips, thumbnails, captions, and performance‑tracked campaigns that drive reach and leads.

You will work closely with our founder‑host KC, producers, agents, and marketing team to create content that is fast, fun, on‑brand, and deadline‑reliable.

Key Responsibilities
1. Video Production & Post (≈50%)
  • Plan and execute shoots: location recce, gear prep, shot lists, lighting plans, audio checks.
  • Operate cameras (Sony ecosystem), DJI Pocket 3, gimbals, sliders, wireless audio, lights, green screen.
  • Capture b‑roll, presenter‑led walkthroughs, interview style Q&A, property highlights, lifestyle context shots.
  • Capture and sync multi‑cam & dual‑system sound where needed.
  • Ingest, organise, tag, and back up raw media to shared storage; maintain clean project structures.
  • Edit in Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve) with motion graphics / titles in After Effects; light Photoshop work for stills & overlays.
  • Colour correction / grading to brand look; basic audio clean‑up & mix (Audition / Audacity or equivalent).
  • Insert lower thirds, callouts, annotations, subtitles (Eng / Ch), and onscreen data highlights.
  • Integrate licensed / royalty‑free music, SFX, and VO; manage sound & music libraries.
  • Export platform‑specific masters (YouTube 16:9, Reels/TikTok 9:16, square teasers, WeChat/Xiaohongshu specs) and archive deliverables.
2. Short‑Form & Social Content Creation (≈25%)
  • Rapidly cut snackable clips from long‑form shoots (hooks, before/after, “KC tips”, price reveals, FAQ bites).
  • Add fast text animations / keyword highlights to drive retention in vertical video.
  • Produce platform‑native thumbnails / cover frames (Chinese + English copy variants where needed).
  • Draft short captions that are compliant with platform sensitivities (we’ll train you on China‑platform guidelines).
  • Schedule and publish across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, WeChat Channels, Xiaohongshu, Facebook Reels, LinkedIn.
  • Track early engagement signals (hook‑through, avg watch time, shares) and recommend iterative edits.
3. Marketing Ops, Analytics & Growth (≈15%)
  • Coordinate with agents & marketing to align video drops with listing launches and lead‑gen campaigns.
  • Tag videos to listings in CRM / tracking sheets; update performance dashboards (views, CTR, leads, inquiry source).
  • A/B test hooks, thumbnails, and first‑3‑seconds packaging.
  • Support paid boost set‑ups (basic Meta/TikTok Ads Manager exposure helpful; training provided).
4. Production Support & Asset Care (≈10%)
  • Maintain, clean, and log cameras, lenses, gimbals, mics, lights, drones, media cards, batteries.
  • Keep studio and kit “shoot ready.”
  • Track repairs, rentals, and firmware updates.
  • Represent Home Quarters professionally on location and when liaising with homeowners, developers, or partners.
