Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a cybersecurity professional to join our IT security operations team. You will help develop policies, deploy and maintain security tools, support risk assessments, audits, incident response, and monitoring of security events.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree (or diploma with experience) in cybersecurity or IT, plus strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in cybersecurity/IT with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of threat types, risk management and incident response.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, VPN and encryption.
• Familiarity with SIEM, antivirus, firewall and vulnerability scanners.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and documentation of cybersecurity policies and guardrails.
• Support deployment, maintenance and review of security tools.
• Work with network teams to implement basic security configurations.
• Participate in risk assessments, vulnerability scans and audits.
• Monitor logs and alerts, triage events, and support incident response.
• Maintain asset inventories and configuration documentation.
• Contribute to compliance reporting and documentation efforts.
• Stay informed on cybersecurity trends and best practices, especially in telecoms.
• Participate in training and awareness initiatives to promote security.
• Learn and apply security practices in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
