Job summary

NETWORK FOR ELECTRONIC TRANSFERS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain layered security tools. You will collaborate with security ops, IT, and risk teams to deploy and optimize tools, develop policies, and enhance detection and response capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in security tooling, 5+ years cloud security, and strong Unix scripting, with vendor and cloud certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
10+ years hands-on security tooling experience including SIEM/SOAR/EDR/XDR.
5+ years managing native security services in cloud (AWS/Azure/OCI/GCP).
Strong information security, networking, and Unix shell scripting knowledge.
Experience planning production rollouts and handling unforeseen issues.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Vendor and cloud certifications (AWS Security, AZ-500) are required.

Responsibilities

Implement security technologies including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, AV, and more.
Deploy native cloud security solutions and third-party security tools in cloud envs.
Harden and maintain security tools per security and compliance requirements.
Maintain lifecycle of solutions on approved versions.
Manage incidents including zero-days and patching with minimal business impact.
Troubleshoot implementation issues with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Perform periodic checks to ensure optimal operation and plan future state.
Conduct comprehensive UAT before rolling out to production environments.
Partner with vendors to implement security solutions from POC to deployment.
Apply BAU changes per ITSM processes (change, problem, incident).
Keep documentation up-to-date for daily activities.
