Job summary

Quess Corp Limited in Singapore seeks a Technology Risk Specialist – Governance to support risk governance, regulatory compliance and control frameworks across a leading financial institution.

You will collaborate with technology, risk and engineering teams on EOS, DR, patching and FOSS, and drive governance improvements via automation and AI while ensuring timely remediation of identified risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline required.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Technology Risk, IT Risk, Technology Governance or related area.
• Experience in banking, financial services or other regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with technology, risk and engineering stakeholders on technology risk governance matters.
• Prepare and manage regular and ad-hoc governance reports, including regulatory and management reporting.
• Coordinate annual and bi-annual risk assessments, attestations and governance exercises.
• Track action plans and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely risk remediation.
• Maintain and enhance governance standards, process guides, playbooks and supporting documentation.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on technology risk controls, governance requirements and remediation expectations.
• Conduct continuous monitoring to identify technology risks and control gaps.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance processes through automation, AI and process optimization.
• Support governance initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce operational effort and deliver cost savings.

About the Role

We are looking for a Technology Risk Specialist – Governance to support technology risk governance, regulatory compliance and control frameworks across a leading financial institution.

The role will work closely with technology, risk and engineering stakeholders across areas including Technology Refresh / End of Support (EOS), Disaster Recovery (DR), Non-Security Patching and Free & Open Source Software (FOSS).

You will also play a key role in improving governance processes through automation and AI, while ensuring risks are identified, monitored and remediated within the required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Technology Risk, IT Risk, Technology Governance, IT Governance or a related area.
• Experience within banking, financial services or other regulated environments is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in technology risk governance, controls, assessments, compliance or remediation.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is advantageous:
• Technology Refresh / End of Support (EOS)
• Disaster Recovery (DR)
• Non-Security Patching
• Free & Open Source Software (FOSS)
• Demonstrated experience implementing automation, AI or process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare management-level reports and translate risk requirements into actionable outcomes.
• CRISC / CISA certification is preferred.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who combines technology risk knowledge with strong stakeholder management skills and can drive governance activities independently. Candidates who have experience improving risk processes through automation or AI will have an added advantage.
