Job summary

RMR INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Technology Project Manager to plan, coordinate and deliver telecommunications and technology projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with clients, engineers, vendors and internal teams to ensure safety, schedule adherence and budget compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or engineering/IT field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technology/telecommunications project management.
• Experience with telecom infrastructure, network deployment or system integration projects.
• Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting, resource and risk management.
• Proficiency in reading technical specs and network diagrams; PMP/PRINCE2/Agile helpful.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage telecommunications, wireless network and technology projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, implementation plans and resource requirements.
• Coordinate network installation, system integration, testing, commissioning and service activation.
• Lead engineers, technical teams, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
• Review customer requirements and propose suitable network solutions.
• Monitor milestones, expenditure, risks and deliverables.
• Conduct progress meetings and report to management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, procedures and Singapore regulations.
• Identify issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Manage project documentation and handover; support procurement evaluations.
• Maintain relationships with customers and partners; provide post-implementation support.

Job Description

The Technology Project Manager will plan, coordinate and deliver telecommunications and technology projects, including mobile cellular, wireless communication and network infrastructure projects. The role requires close coordination with clients, engineers, vendors and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and according to technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage telecommunications, wireless network and technology projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, implementation plans and resource requirements.
• Coordinate network installation, system integration, testing, commissioning and service activation.
• Manage engineers, technical teams, subcontractors, suppliers and technology vendors.
• Review customers’ technical requirements and recommend suitable network or technology solutions.
• Monitor project milestones, expenditure, risks, quality standards and deliverables.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress reports to management and clients.
• Ensure projects comply with contractual requirements, company procedures and applicable Singapore regulations.
• Identify technical or operational issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Manage project documentation, including proposals, specifications, schedules, reports and handover documents.
• Support procurement and evaluation of telecommunications equipment, software and technical services.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers, business partners, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Provide post-implementation support and ensure successful project handover.
• Perform other technology project management duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in technology, telecommunications, wireless networks or IT project management.
• Experience managing telecommunications infrastructure, network deployment, system integration or technology implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, resource management and risk management.
• Ability to understand technical specifications, network diagrams and project requirements.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management and Microsoft Office applications.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or other recognised project-management certification is advantageous.
• Knowledge of mobile cellular networks, wireless communications, network security or cloud technology is advantageous.
• Must be able to work independently and coordinate with technical and commercial teams.
