Job description

Google is seeking a Technology Practice Lead for AI in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The successful candidate will have a current right to work in Singapore and not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as a pre-sales or engineering manager in relation to AI.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role, in the enterprise space.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in AI frameworks, products, or solutions.
  • Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines, or distributed machine learning.
  • Experience with data analytics, data visualization techniques, building and developing relationships.
  • Knowledge of technology and business issues in the public cloud.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and exchange ideas to support organizational goals.
  • Ability to learn, understand and apply emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions in the Cloud/IT space.

As a Technology Practice Lead for AI, you will drive the AI strategy, lead to solution adoption and engage with the broader AI community. You will partner with account teams and leadership and support success through agreement support, partner enablement and AI expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Drive adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions by conducting technical engagements and pilots.
  • Lead initiatives to coach and enable Google Cloud specialist teams on AI solutions, narratives and differentiators.
  • Establish relationships with Google account teams, leadership, professional services, product management, engineering and solution management, global system integrator partners and executive staff.
  • Support customer engagement across a defined region. Travel up to 50% of the time as needed.
