Job summary

Abaxx Technologies is seeking a driven technology professional to join our Technology team in Singapore. You will lead client onboarding, system integration, and hands-on technical delivery for high‑frequency trading initiatives, coordinating across internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in application development, systems integration, or technology operations.

Job description

We are seeking a driven technology professional to join our Technology team. This role is responsible for delivering business-critical initiatives through client and partner engagement, vendor management, and hands-on technical execution. You will gain broad exposure to High-Frequency Trading (HFT) systems, technology operations, project delivery, information security and compliance in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead client onboarding and system integration initiatives with institutional clients and partners, managing projects end-to-end and providing hands-on technical implementation. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely delivery.
• Oversee third-party connectivity and stability of HFT systems, ensuring secure, stable, and reliable connectivity between internal platforms and external participants in support of business operations.
• Provide technical support and operational guidance to strategic clients, including onboarding, integration support, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operational assistance.
• Manage relationships with strategic application vendors, technology partners, and service providers, ensuring service quality, SLA compliance, effective issue resolution, and timely escalation management.
• Drive continuous improvement across technology operations, enhancing system reliability, operational efficiency, security posture, and overall user experience.
• Administer and govern user access across enterprise systems, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and compliance with information security policies and controls.
• Maintain technology governance and compliance processes, including vulnerability management, patch management, identity and access management (IAM), security controls, and audit readiness.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, project plans, and management reports, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder visibility.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in application development, systems integration, technology operations, or a related technical role.
• Industrial experience with order routing, electronic trading, and clearing integrations using the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) Protocol is required.
• Knowledge of exchange-traded derivatives, including futures and options products, is highly desirable.
• Hands-on software engineering, application development, or API integration experience is an advantage.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with information security practices, vulnerability management, access control, and security remediation within a regulated environment, preferably the financial services industry.
• Experience managing user access lifecycle processes, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and privileged access controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent client-facing, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and effectively manage interactions with clients, partners, and service providers.
