Job summary

eazy, a Singapore-based insurance brokerage, seeks a Head of Technology to define and execute the enterprise technology strategy, aligning infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms and enterprise systems with business goals.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a high-performing team, manage the technology budget, drive governance and vendor relationships, and partner with applications to deliver secure, scalable digital solutions.

Qualifications

Job Description:

The Head of Technology is responsible for defining and executing eazy's enterprise technology strategy, ensuring that our infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms and enterprise systems provide a secure, scalable and resilient foundation for the company's continued digital transformation. The role works in close partnership with the Head of Applications to ensure application architecture, infrastructure, APIs and enterprise platforms are aligned to deliver secure, scalable and high-performing business solutions.

This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the senior management team. Beyond leading the Technology function, the Head of Technology will contribute to the company's overall strategy, organisational planning and key business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Leadership

• Develop and execute the enterprise technology roadmap aligned with business strategy.

• Serve as a trusted technology advisor to the CEO and senior management.

• Develop and maintain the enterprise technology architecture, ensuring new systems and technologies integrate seamlessly across the organisation.

• Drive technology governance and best practices across the organisation.

• Build and mentor a high-performing infrastructure and operations team.

• Develop and manage the Technology budget, ensuring investments deliver measurable business value.

• Manage strategic technology vendors and service providers to ensure high service quality and value.

Infrastructure & Cloud

• Own and continuously improve eazy's Microsoft Azure cloud environment.

• Ensure infrastructure is secure, resilient and scalable.

• Oversee networking, identity management, endpoint management and collaboration platforms.

• Lead disaster recovery, backup and business continuity planning.

Cybersecurity

• Develop and maintain the company's cybersecurity strategy.

• Manage security operations, vulnerability management and incident response.

• Drive organisation-wide security awareness.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and security standards.

Enterprise Platforms & Integration

• Oversee enterprise platforms including Salesforce, SAP Business One and Microsoft 365.

• Partner with the Head of Applications to ensure secure and scalable integrations across internal and third-party platforms.

• Establish enterprise integration standards and maintain data flows between business systems.

Innovation

• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

• Drive the responsible adoption of AI, automation and emerging technologies across the organisation.

What you need:

Experience

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in technology leadership.

• Experience leading enterprise infrastructure in a cloud-first environment.

• Experience managing Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure and Microsoft 365.

• Experience managing enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce.

• Experience managing cybersecurity, disaster recovery and business continuity.

• Experience working closely with software engineering teams.

• Experience managing external technology vendors and service providers.
