KPMG has a strong SAP Digital Transformation team in this region, assisting clients with end-to-end business transformation initiatives enabled by SAP solutions. Our practice is expanding, and we are seeking an SAP Basis consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess both functional and technical expertise to deploy SAP Basis solutions effectively and address our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients for consultation, project execution, SAP Sizing (for RISE), SAP performance tuning, and support of leveraged SAP environments.
• Perform SAP Basis tasks: Installations and Configurations (SAP S/4HANA, FIORI, BTP, Cloud connector, SOLMAN, CALM, etc.), S/4HANA upgrades, SPS, SAML, SSO configuration, Charm, TMS configuration, system refreshes, and client copies.
• Manage SAP System Architecture, hardware, and integration landscape; oversee SAP Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery.
• Implement S/4HANA data migration and transformation during new implementations and upgrades.
• Plan cutover activities and prepare data migration runbooks.
• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and optimizing system performance to ensure stability and availability.
• Maintain knowledge of SAP patch upgrades and Unix OS patching activities.
• Configure BTP, Workzone, and troubleshoot issues across S/4HANA, SAP BTP services, and third-party systems.
• Design data migration solutions, including SAP Data Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL).
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and performance optimization techniques.
• Support presales efforts by developing technical solutions, proposals, and client presentations.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support bids and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (preferred).
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in SAP BASIS/ABAP Application and Administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver results and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
