Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks an Equipment Engineer to monitor, sustain and improve semiconductor toolsets, maintain recipes, perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
You will support testing, installation, relocation, and upgrades; document maintenance; ensure safety; and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize tool uptime and process stability. The role emphasizes data analysis, TPM/6S, and AI-assisted productivity tools.

Monitor, sustain and improve equipment and/or processes through recipe maintenance, tool recovery and basic troubleshooting of tool issues
Monitor, analyze and dispose out of control events for established SPC rules for both tool qualification and product measurements
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues
Support engineering requests with testing and experimentation on processes and/or equipment and collect, document, and analyze data from these tests and experiments
Assist in tool installation, relocation and upgrades
Improve tool uptime through quality workmanship, systematic problem solving and troubleshooting
Document all maintenance performed in established check sheets and tracking programs, and routinely review maintenance check sheets and procedures
Update Engineering Operations Engineer on tool and area issues
Completing all required safety training and ensure all work is conducted in accordance with Micron safety policies
Minimizing variability and increasing tool availability
Partnering with other areas or departments to solve issues
Supporting and maintaining TPM and 6S activities
Perform work with accuracy and within a reasonable time
Communicate appropriately with other personnel, including 1st shift Equipment Engineers and other shifts as necessary
Supporting on engineering and/or production recipe setup or retrain.
