At Micron, we offer an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious Contamination Control Technician to join our diverse team at FAB 10. As a key player in the environment quality control sector, you will collaborate with Facilities, Equipment, Fab support, Production Teams and area engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Respond to ERT and Security alerts, ensuring gowning room logistics are adequate during evacuation.
- Respond to contamination alarms and report abnormal conditions to engineering and other stakeholders.
- Sample various areas of the Fab for contamination (swab, bacteria, airborne and liquid particles, and airborne molecular contamination) and work with the chemical lab to have samples analyzed and obtain data in a timely manner.
- Ensure real‑time monitoring systems are operating and recording properly.
- Carry out primary investigations on contamination issues and provide contamination data to engineering for analysis.
- Carry out primary investigations on contamination control analyzers.
- Complete special projects and support contamination control engineering projects.
- Ensure team members are practicing approved cleanroom protocol.
- Act as contamination control resource to the Fab, Probe, Facilities and other supporting groups.
- Be a contributing member in your areas of responsibilities.
Requirements
- Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Materials diploma preferred or related field of study.
- Candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
- Must be able to work in cleanroom environment.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse people.
- Basic proficiency in PC skills, including MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of analytical techniques, such as ion chromatography, gas chromatography and particle analyzers.
- Must be able to work a 12‑hour shift and open to night shift.
