Technician (E&I)
- Responsible for maintenance and repair services of electrical & Instrument manufacturing systems.
- Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
- Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Monitors, repairs and maintains production equipment to ensure continuous production.
- Provides instrument and/ or electrical repair.
- Responsible for repair, preventative maintenance, data management, project support, control support and ISO audits support.
- Studies equipment performance and reliability.
- Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
- Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.
- Responsible for equipment and instrumentation calibration and maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant manufacturing and warehouse equipment in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures.
- Responsible for execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.
- Assist for writing Job Aids and support Engineer in SOP writing, CCA or ER investigation.
- Manage and lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance works.
- Lead and take part in continuous improvement efforts/ projects.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical/ Food/ Petrochemical/ Chemical/ Nutritional or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge on lean six sigma, kaizen and Kanban is an advantage.
Education:
ITC/ NITEC/ Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation or related discipline or GCE "N/ O/ A" Level with more than 3 years of experience.
