Job summary

A leading company in facilities management is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment faults, and ensure operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will possess relevant qualifications in Mechatronic Engineering and have experience in packaging systems. Applicants should be prepared for a rotating shift and possess strong technical skills.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years' relevant experience in Facilities Management/Technician roles.
• Prepared to work on a 12-hour rotating shift.
• Experience in Bagging line would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system faults.
• Attend to breakdown and ensure equipment performance.

Diploma, NITEC, NTC-2 or ITC Mechatronic Engineering

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive maintenance and corrective repair works on packaging and conveying equipment

• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic system faults on equipment

• Attend to breakdown repair and recovery of operational equipment

• Reduce equipment downtime and enhance equipment performance through quality maintenance works

• Proper recording of works carried out on equipment

• Carry out and rectify facilities related matter.

Requirements:

• Possess Diploma, NITEC, NTC-2 or ITC Mechatronic Engineering is preferred

• Equipment knowledge - Bagging /packaging/conveyor system

• General knowledge on ac drives and electrical motors, pneumatic cylinders and roller/chain conveyors

• Basic knowledge of PLC and electrical system

• Min. 3 years' relevant experience in Facilities Management/Facilities Technician

• Must be prepared to work on a 12-hour rotating shift

• Experience in Bagging line would be advantage
