Job summary

YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited, a major energy producer in Singapore, invites a maintenance engineer to attend work orders, diagnose equipment issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep plant operations smooth and efficient.

The role involves leading repairs, coordinating logistics, and producing weekly activity reports while maintaining a strong safety mindset and teamwork within the CERT framework.

Qualifications

• Must hold Nitec or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably around 3 years of engineering experience.
• Safety-minded with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Attend to work orders allocated by Maintenance Engineers.
• Analyse process parameters, alarms and drawings to diagnose and trouble shoot equipment problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure plant equipment and systems operate smoothly.
• Perform unit functional tests for re-commissioning of overhaul units.
• Lead in the repair or replacement of defective or malfunctioning components.
• Assess spare part requirements and raise purchases; record parts used; review quotations.
• Coordinate logistic arrangement for all maintenance activities.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work area through housekeeping.
• Prepare weekly activity reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Education

3 years' experience in Engineering or related field

Qualifications

• Nitec / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably possesses 3 years' experience in Engineering or related field.
• Self-driven, with good working attitude and a good team player.
• Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behavior.
• Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.
