Job summary

A leading electrical and gas utility provider in Singapore seeks a qualified individual to manage utility operations, including handling turn-on and cut-off of services. Candidates should possess NTC or NITEC in electrical discipline and have a valid driving license. The position demands independence and strong communication skills. This is a full-time role located in Kallang with a 2-year renewable contract.

Qualifications

• Possess NTC 2 / 3 or NITEC or Higher NITEC in electrical discipline or equivalent.
• Own vehicle required for the role.
• Able to carry out site checks and turn on/off utilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out turn-on and cut-off of electricity and water supply.
• Conduct site checks to take meter readings.

Education

Class 2/2A/2B/3 driving license

Job description

Contract Duration: 2 years (renewable/convertible)

Location: Kallang

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, Alternate Saturday 4 hours

Our client is the sole electrical grid and gas grid operator in the country, and provides electricity and gas transmission, distribution services, and market support services to more than a million households in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

· Carry out turn-on and cut-off of electricity and water supply as well as site checks to take meter reading of electricity, water, and gas meter

Requirements:

· NTC 2 / 3 (Theory and Practical) or NITEC or Higher NITEC in electrical discipline or equivalent

· Possess Class 2/2A/2B/3 driving license and has own vehicle

· Able to work independently with minimum supervision

· Good interpersonal and communication skills
