Zusammenfassung

A human resource consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Technician for the Supplier Quality department on a contract basis. The role includes conducting inspections on mechanical and electrical parts and supporting R&D prototype inspections. Candidates should hold a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. The firm offers a monthly salary ranging from $1800 to $2500, depending on experience and performance.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of similar experience in an original equipment manufacturer/contract manufacturing.
• Drawing knowledge, preferably Advanced Geometrical Dimension and Tolerancing knowledge.
• Able to travel to suppliers in Singapore, Johor Bahru in Malaysia.

Aufgaben

• Conduct first article and incoming inspections on mechanical and electrical parts.
• Support R&D for prototype inspection.
• Perform internal calibration for gages, jigs, and fixtures.

Kenntnisse

CMM Programming skill, preferably Zeiss

Inspection knowledge on PCBA, cable and other electrical parts

Calibration process knowledge

Employment Type: Contract

Monthly Salary: $1800-$2500

- 1 year contract (renewable and convertible to perm depending on performance and company headcount)
- Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm or 8.30am – 6pm

- Up to $2500 + VB + Completion Bonus

Responsibilities

• First article, Incoming inspection on mechanical and electrical parts
• Support R&D for prototype inspection
• Internal calibration for gages, jigs, and fixture
• CMM programming for new parts
• GOM or other optical inspection for prototype parts
• Assist Engineer in non-conformance management.
• Training intern
• Ensure supplier uses the right equipment for inspection.
• Other admin work related to supplier quality that include purchase request

Job Requirements

• Diploma, ITE (with relevant experience), preferably Mechanical / Electrical engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of similar experience in original equipment manufacturer / contract manufacturing.
