Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in facilities/building maintenance.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and ACMV systems.

Responsibilities

• Attend joint inspections with contractors for fitting out works.
• Perform basic building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks.
• Inspect and maintain firefighting and protection equipment.

Job title: Technician/Senior Technician (M&E Services)×2

Our Client is a Japanese-listed Building Developer Company. The Technician/Senior Technician (M&E Services) will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting M&E systems and ensuring smooth building operations.

You will report to the Senior Manager (Building Service & M&E Services).

【Responsibilities】
- Attend joint inspection with the tenant’s contractor related to fitting out and reinstatement works
- Perform basic building maintenance such as ACMV, electrical & plumbing, Sanitary works, etc
- Perform kitchen hood filter chemical servicing to all speciality Restaurants
- Inspect common areas within the shopping centre and tenants’ premises when necessary
- Record & update daily maintenance, Weekly ＆ monthly inspection reports
- Inspect and identify defects such as power failure, leakage and aircon issues, etc
- Inspect firefighting and protection equipment such as fire extinguishers & fire hose reels, and Dry Risers.
- Attend to the Superior landlord on any repairs and maintenance of the building services.
- Attend our company's maintenance works, such as KWP replacement, et,c duringthe night shift
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works as directed by the Supervisor
- Requisite necessary parts for repairs and maintenance (such as Public address speaker repair, etc).
- Practice workplace health & safety standards, such as wearing personal protection
accessories whenever needed
- Any other duties as may be designated by the company

【What you will receive】
- AWS
- Variable Bonus (Depends on Company and Individual performance)
- Annual Leave: 15 days (prorated upon confirmation)
- Medical Leave: 14 days
- Transport Allowance: $80 / month
- Working days: Shift pattern, 4 days work, 1 day off rotation
- Working hours:
Morning Shift- 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
Afternoon Shift- 3 pm to 11 pm
(There might be A1 shift (not many 0-3 times per month), 5 pm to 1 am- allowance will be given for this shift, allowance will be basic salary per hr X 1.5 rate X 2 + meal allowance $10 + Taxi Claim)
- Mobile Allowance: Technician will be $25/month, Senior Technician will be $50/month

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Minimum Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Air Conditioning or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in facilities/building maintenance in a commercial building
- Good understanding of building maintenance and M&E systems
- Possess hands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing and Sanitary systems, building maintenance and/or ACMV experience
- Able to handle an audio-visual system
- Able to work overtime as and when required
