JOB PURPOSE:

Assist in ensuring that hotel guests have a comfortable environment and enjoyable stay, with total guests’ satisfaction, at Ramada and Days Hotels. Responsible for the smooth functioning of guestrooms, F&B outlets, and other hotel facilities by instilling a culture of preventive maintenance in the team and managing the properties’ facilities and equipment, such as air-conditioning systems, fire protection systems, water distribution, and electrical installations.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist the Duty Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and services during a shift, attending to work orders in guestrooms, F&B outlets, and common areas, ensuring all tasks are completed within the hotel’s policies and procedures, to the satisfaction of operations and guests.
• Assist the Duty Engineer in responding to and managing emergencies and crises during a shift according to the hotel’s policies and procedures.
• Responsible for the hotel engineering tools, equipment, and supplies assigned to facilitate work tasks.

• Ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide feasible solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Rotating night shift required.
