Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Technician or Senior Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing installation and maintenance activities, supporting field operations, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day planning and execution of all installation and maintenance/service activities
  • Provide training and guidance to team members during project rollouts and on new technologies
  • Assist in the development of fellow technicians through mentorship and skill-building
  • Participate in hardware customization and modification to meet project goals and customer expectations
  • Conduct measurements and site surveys to evaluate the feasibility of equipment installation on vehicles
  • Assist in coordinating and managing installation schedules
  • Set up new products, and perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs during installation and testing
  • Conduct in-house hardware testing and provide training when necessary
  • Monitor device performance and conduct field testing post-installation
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to work performed
  • Hold a valid Class 3 Driver's License
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical background or working experience in a related field
  • Candidates with prior experience in the installation of telematics and surveillance systems are preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on technical knowledge
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Willingness to travel and perform on-site fieldwork
