What do we offer?

Grundfos (Singapore) Pte is looking for talented and motivated individuals to join the Production Assembly team. The Technician will work closely with the Line Leader for Production Assembly and production engineers to provide timely technical support. This role offers a good understanding of Grundfos pump products across different assembly lines and is based in Singapore Plant.

What is the job about?

As a Technician – Production Assembly, your key responsibility is to troubleshoot electrical and electronics hardware and interpret electrical drawings. Other responsibilities include:

  1. Executing work orders according to defined work instructions and procedures, including operating machinery and equipment.
  2. Reporting suspected quality failures of components to the line leader and rectifying non-conforming products or results detected during final testing and inspection.
  3. Informing the line leader of any deviations from the Production Bill of Materials (BOM) for updates or rectification.
  4. Training and guiding junior technicians on various techniques and work practices in assembly and testing processes.
  5. Performing maintenance of factory equipment as scheduled and executing simple troubleshooting of factory tools and equipment.
  6. Maintaining a clean work station and adhering to all safety and environmental policies.
  7. Proposing to superiors when maintenance or calibration of factory equipment is needed to prevent breakdowns or calibration issues.
  8. Initiating process improvements to enhance assembly team efficiency and using software systems like SAP.
  9. Performing 5S practices and following safety policies, safe job procedures, and risk assessments.
